Summary
I would like to leverage my lifetime of lived and work experience to strengthen the economic, cultural, and personal bonds between the Swiss in the U.S. and Switzerland, using my skills in communication and negotiation

Detail
After getting my bachelor's degree at nineteen, I first worked as a pharmaceutical QC Chemist in Bombay, India, followed by a hospitality job in Lausanne, Switzerland. I then moved to the U.S., arriving with a suitcase in hand and around $8,000 in my pocket. After 35+ years in healthcare (pharmacy, supply chain), I have pivoted to philanthropy. Dedicated to lifelong learning and improvement, I am always looking to develop, learn, and contribute to society! Now that I am older, wiser (perhaps), and have more time, it would be a privilege to be able to support the strengthening of ties between our similar yet differing societies, while learning from each other and improving both. I have a wide variety of interests, including economics, technology, and the environment; interest in specific topics such as e-ID and e-voting, OASI, etc.; and, based on interactions with my mother and brother in Geneva, have a growing sensitivity to issues related to aging, elder care, and disabilities.
