Summary

I have been active in politics for over 12 years, in my Conseil Communal, in the Grand Conseil of the State of Geneva and as cantonal party President. I travel back to Switzerland regularly and am very much interested and active in affairs pertaining to Swiss affairs. I intend to move back some time before retirement, reinforcing my interest in Swiss topics and challenges. I believe I can bring some new insights from the USA on several relevant themes relevant to Switzerland..

I grew up in Hermance, GE a small village on lake Geneva, went to public school and eventually graduated from the HSG with a master in Banking. I was active for close to 20 years with Credit Suisse and UBS. 

 

I have lived for over 10 years in the Swiss German part: St. Gallen and Zürich mostly. I am married and we have a 17-year-old daughter who wants to study in Switzerland. 

 

One more connection and subject of importance for many Swiss nationals abroad. I was a member of my Conseil Communal of my childhood village for 10 years, I served as my canton of Geneva party President for a Conservative Party. Additionally, I have accomplished my military service in Switzerland. 

 

Since 2020 we have resided in beautiful Sedona, Arizona, a dreamland of red rocks and canyons. A true hikers wonderland. Switzerland a nation linked to the international world can only benefit from having more input from its residents abroad!

Membership/Active involvement in Swiss Associations/groups
Arizona-Swiss Society, member. Frequent contributor to RTS radio (Swiss French Forum show mostly).
