I am visiting Switzerland about 10 -12 times per year for business and as a board member of European companies in the US, I truly understand the bi-cultural and economical challenges the Swiss community will need to address.

Christian (Chris) Stern is a seasoned entrepreneur based in Estero, FL, with a summer base in Raleigh, NC. Originally from Zurich, he served as a captain and company commander in the Swiss Army.

 

Chris began his career in the textile industry and holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business Administration Zurich. He is the founder and active principal of IFEM, an international consulting firm specializing in global business strategies, and has authored two books on the subject. From 1996 to 2024, he also served as a senior lecturer at the St. Gallen Management Institute (SGMI) and the St. Gallen Business School (SGBS).

 

Beyond consulting, Chris co-founded and leads two aviation companies and holds an active airline transport pilot license. He also serves on the board of directors for StoCorp, a German-American construction supply company based in Atlanta, GA, and Hazu Inc., a Swiss-American artificial intelligence company with operations in Visp, Switzerland, and Sunnyvale, CA.
